Don't Mess with Mill City is a short form documentary portrait of a community hero . A woman dedicated to revitalizing her neighborhood. Dissatisfied with the systemic barriers plaguing her South Dallas community, Ms.Alendra Lyons rolls up her sleeves and gets to work creating neighborhood initiatives, a community garden, and various plans to re-imagine what the Mill City neighborhood will be for future generations.
Don't Mess with Mill City is a work-in-progress (WIP). We are still in production on this work, but expected to be finished mid Fall of 2025.
